Sample Collection & Dispatch

We will provide treated and preserved bottles, at no additional cost, for sample collection.

All bottles have been properly cleaned and treated according to international requirements before they are sent for sampling.

In the event your test sample is temperature-sensitive, the return of the sample containers should be packed in a cool box to facilitate the “refrigeration” of samples en route to the laboratory. If needed, a Chain of Custody (COC) form will be made available upon request.

Sample Handling & Storage

All samples will be stored and kept in a temperature-controlled and humidity-controlled cold room after sample receipt until all testing is finished. Each sample will be stored for 1 month after your final test results are delivered, then disposed of.

Turnaround Time & Data Reporting

Our standard laboratory turnaround time (TAT) is 7–10 working days. Electronic reports in PDF format will be emailed to your company after the testing results are checked and approved by the laboratory’s HOKLAS signatories.

Work orders received after 12 p.m. will be processed the following day. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are not considered working days.

Express Services

We can provide an express turnaround upon request. Express service processing time must be confirmed and agreed upon before the samples are collected.

Contract Manufacturing and Contract Design Manufacturing (CMO and CDMO)

We have exclusive partnerships with factories located in Malaysia, China, and India that specialise in the following chemical production disciplines:

Reaction Intermediate

A reaction intermediate is a molecular entity formed by the preceding chemical reactants. The intermediates are further reacted to produce the final chemical. Reaction intermediates are an integral component within chemical production; they directly affect the production and cost of the final chemical.

With over 10 years of experience in chemical procurement and production, we are able to optimise the production of reaction intermediates to reduce the end cost of the final chemical.

We have a number of intermediates and precursor’s available; additionally, we are able to procure or custom synthesise any reaction intermediates that may be required for your research.

N-1 Intermediates

N-1 intermediates are refined versions of reactive intermediates that are further down the line of the chemical step production process. Essentially, N-1 chemicals are the last building block for producing the end chemical.

Our chemical portfolio includes a variety of N-1 intermediates. In the event that your laboratory is seeking additional N-1 intermediates, we are more than welcome to procure or custom synthesise your needed chemical.

Chemical Processing

We specialise in the chemical processing of APIs. In the event that your company has a semi-finished compound that is in need of further production to its end chemical form, please contact us with your specifics.

Long-chain compounds

Long-chain compounds are challenging compounds that can take more than 15 steps to produce. Our research and development laboratory has experience with the development of chemical processes in between 15 and 20 steps.

Contract Research (CRO)

Our contract research department can produce key analytical data to enable your company to produce commercially successful new compounds or improve existing chemical synthesis routes. We can offer the benefits of efficiently managing costs by optimising your chemical synthesis routes.

R&D

Research and development are integral to the creation and progression of new chemical production. Using our extensive experience in the research and development field, our R&D division can provide your company with the support needed when developing new chemical compounds or improving existing chemical synthesis routes.

Analytical Chemistry

Analytical chemistry is used to identify the contents and purity of a chemical. Our company uses the following test methods for analysis:

  • HPLC
  • LC-MS
  • 1H-NMR
  • MRS
  • GC-MS
  • Mitochondrial Toxicity

Our analytical chemists verify all testing data locally and outsource it. We perform analytical testing on thousands of different chemicals per year to verify the chemical structure, purity, and assay. Our above analytical test methods allow us to test a variety of synthesised or naturally derived chemicals.

Chemical Synthesis

Chemical synthesis is the art of causing chemical reactions to create a new molecule. Our production factory has decades of laboratory experience to perform such custom chemical syntheses. We specialise in the synthesis of organic molecules, including active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), amino acids, nutraceuticals, and peptides.

Rational Chemical Design

Rational design is a biomolecular engineering strategy to create a new chemical with a defined function. The purpose of rational design is to foreshadow how the structure of the new molecule will affect its behaviour through physical models. This is carefully calculated by applying variations to a known structure. This chemical design method helps us predict how a new chemical compound will have specific functionality and design novel compounds.
